I'm asked how long I've been interested in dinosaurs on a fairly regular basis. The answer is, forever! My earliest memories are of playing with dinosaur toys and being absolutely awestruck by their form and function. And now I have proof! Below is a photo of me celebrating my 5th birthday at kindergarten, with an awesome dinosaur shaped cake (classic from the Australian Women's Weekly Children's Birthday Cake Book). My five year old self says thanks again to Mum and Dad!
