The marking. Oh the marking. I don't know if its just the ridiculous deadlines or the sheer amount of assignments and exams to mark (100+ students in some classes), but now I'm starting to understand all lecturer's pain. Especially when they're expected to conduct their own research, apply for grants, and manage Honours, Masters and PhD students. And I've only had to mark ~60 assignments, just the once! Phew!

Well, it is a tough task to teach and get funds for research at the same time but could be fun if taken with positives. What say you?

I can definitely see the positives, I guess I'm just very focused on pure research at the moment! Thanks for the comment!
